Requirements:
The selection procedure is open for all individuals, who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.2.4) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility criteria according to § 166 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University:
• holding at least a Master’s degree, Master of Science degree or an equivalent degree;
• exhibiting aptitude for research work.
Additional requirements and expectations:
Experience in cultivating plants for research.
Basic experiences in the field of molecular biology such as DNA and RNA isolation, and molecular cloning.
Skills in protein expression and protein analysis such as western blotting are preferred.
The ability to analyze plant metabolites by liquid chromatography will be appreciated.
Strong motivation to learn new knowledge about plant transporters.
Independence in performing experiments.
Good speaking and writing skills in English.
