WELCOME WEEK - Dates: 4 -11.10.2019

LOCATION: Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology, Gronostajowa 7A str., room No 3/14 and SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, Czerwone Maki 98 str. Krakow

Description: Welcome Week (4-11.10.2019)

The main activity of the Welcome week will focus on laboratory visits (2 hours per lab). Furthermore, leaders unable to present their on the first day will have the opportunity to do it during this week. There will be also Welcome Meeting with PhD students and their representatives held by Karolina Majsterkiewicz.  Finally, the students will have to select 5 research groups. Students will spend the first 10-12 weeks of the program undertaking rotation between those 5 research laboratories groups. This ensures exposure to different disciplines and allows the students to gain a better overall picture of the scientific nature of MCB/JCET/Solaris and the different technologies that are available.
