The admission will be held through OAS website - the Jagiellonian University Online Application System.
Documents should be sent electronically in the form of scans.
For 2019/2020 academic year, the September recruitment will be open on 26 August at midday.
a) a diploma certifying the holding of a degree of Master, Master Engineer or equivalent in a field of study from among those indicated in the detailed conditions of recruitment, or
b) a diploma of completion of studies abroad, giving the right to enroll in a course of doctoral studies in the issuing country or recognized as equivalent to the appropriate Polish diploma confirming the qualifications of the second degree;
If the candidate has not yet been issued with such a diploma by the deadline for admission, he/she shall submit a certificate of completion of such studies and a written undertaking to provide the diploma of higher education entitling to enroll in a course of doctoral studies within the prescribed deadline
a) OAS application, i.e.: application for admission to the programme printed from an individual OAS account and signed by the candidate;
b) reference letter for a candidate from a research fellow holding at least the academic degree of doctor habilitated or being an employee of a foreign university or research institution, who has significant achievements in academic issues related to the discipline of biological sciences;

- Letter of Intent from the potential supervisor.
In order to request the Letter of Intent from the potential supervisor:
- Choose one group leader whose research area interests you (see our Research Groups pages for information on Faculty members and their research areas).
- Contact your first-choice-supervisor by email in order to consult his/her availability for the supervision; and, to request the letter of intent.
In your request letter please: a) Outline your research interests and indicate how these fit with the research interests of Biomedical PhD program (max 200 words); b) Write a personal statement on your research experience, research interests and career goals, explaining why you wish to pursue graduate training at MCB/JCET/Solaris (max 400 words)
Following your admission to the PhD program, you will be able to modify your first choice supervisor, based on Group Leaders availability to supervise your research plan selected within the first 10 weeks of the PhD programme.
