Researchers at Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology (MCB) recently published work showing how it was possible to control the size of a nanoscale protein shell (a bacteriophage capsid). The work may eventually lead to designer protein nanoparticles with a range of applications. The work from the Heddle lab at MCB was published in Communications Materials and the journal has now chosen to highlight it as a featured image on their homepage.
