INFRASTARt programme

On 28 September 2021, a funding agreement was signed for the project Maintaining the research infrastructure of the Jagiellonian University created from the funds of Priority II of the Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007- 2013. The project will be implemented in the years 2021 - 2024 from the funds of the Infrastart Programme supervised by the National Centre for Research and Development.

As part of the programme, Jagiellonian University research units receive support to maintain research infrastructure, which will translate into the development of their scientific and commercial activities.
The Jagiellonian University project envisages support for the research infrastructure of the following OP IE projects:

  1. atomic scale systems research: science for an innovative economy, agreement no. POIG.02.01.00-12-023/08-10 implemented by the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Informatics of the Jagiellonian University and the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University;
  2. Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology, agreement no. POIG.02.01.00-12-167/08-13, implemented by the Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology
  3. Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics, agreement no. POIG.02.02.00-00-014/08-10 implemented by the Jagiellonian Centre for the Development of Medicines (JCET);
  4. Molecular biotechnology for health, agreement no. POIG.02.01.00-12-064/08-13 implemented by the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University.

Project co-financing is awarded according to a special algorithm, which is based, inter alia, on the value of generated project revenues and the value of R&D projects carried out in cooperation with foreign entities.
