Requirements:
The selection procedure is open for all individuals, who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.2.3) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility criteria according to § 165 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University:
• holding at least a doctoral degree;
• having relevant scientific achievements;
• taking active part in scientific life.
Additional requirements and expectations:
An ideal candidate will:
• have a master degree in molecular biology or in related fields: biology, biotechnology, microbiology;
• not earlier than 7 years before the year of employment in the project;
• be experienced in working with biosafety class 2 infectious material;
• be proficient in English language of at least C1 level to handle scientific literature;
• have knowledge of and ability to operate basic computer software;
• have documented scientific publications (no less than 2 papers with first authorship in impact factor journals);
• have experience in the implementation of scientific projects (at least once as a project manager).
• have experience in molecular biology
• have experience in biochemical techniques routinely used in microbiological laboratories
• during the period of employment, you cannot receive any other remuneration in any form from the NCN funds
• the project leader was not the supervisor/assistant supervisor of the doctoral thesis
• during the period of employment, you cannot receive other remuneration under an employment contract with any employer, including an employer based outside the territory of the Republic of Poland
