Research grants and internships for young scientists from the Jagiellonian University's Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology

The National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the results of the sixth edition of the Sonatina competition, under which researchers with recent doctoral degrees receive financial support for research and internships in prestigious foreign centers. Among the winners were two scientists from MCB JU.

Leaders of Polish Dioscuri Centres participated on 11-12 July in a workshop organized in Munich by the Dioscuri Office at the Max Planck Society (MPG)

The Dioscuri office at the Max Planck Society (MPG) organized a workshop for leaders of existing and newly established Polish Dioscuri Centres (DCs), including the Dioscuri Centre for Modelling Posttranslational Modifications at the Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology at Jagiellonian University, which will be led by Dr Mateusz Sikora from next year.

Financial support for Ukrainian doctoral students within the framework of the Excellence Initiative programme funds - Jagiellonian University (ID.UJ)

In response to an appeal by Jagiellonian University employees to launch initiatives to support the Ukrainian research community, the possibility of funding projects of PhD students coming from Ukraine was created within the framework of the ID.UJ programme funds for the implementation of the Research Support Module.
