RECTOR of the Jagiellonian University announces a selection procedure for the position of an ASSISTANT in the research staff at MAŁOPOLSKA CENTRE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY
Requirements:
The selection procedure is open for all individuals, who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.2.4) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility criteria according to § 166 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University:
• holding at least a Master’s degree, Master of Science degree or an equivalent degree;
• exhibiting aptitude for research work.
Additional requirements and expectations:
• Have strong expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry and structural biology
• Have international research experience (preferably conducting research in foreign research units for at least 3 years)
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills in English (essential)
• Have good presentation skills (ideally having presented on at least one international research conference)
• Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment
• Enjoy scientifically supporting and actively interacting with other members of the lab
• Have published publications as first author in an international peer reviewed journal
