Five researchers from the Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology have been awarded an OPUS grant in the 17th edition of this prestigious contest. In total, the scientists from MCB will receive funding of 8 890 208 PLN.
In the OPUS grant applications, there are no restrictions on the advancement of the scientific career, academic degree or experience in conducting research. Thus the competition is high.
Awarded scientists from MCB will focus on topics such as posttranslational modifications of proteins, the involvement of the secondary structures of RNA into cardio- and angiogenesis, blood clotting in renal diseases, phosphorus metabolism in plants and metabolites of cyanobacteria from Baltic see.
Congratulations to all awarded scientists as well to their groups!
