MCB performing diagnostic tests for SARS-CoV-2 infection

The Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology has begun work on the diagnosis of patients suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus in the Małopolska voivodship. Two laboratories with complementary knowledge of cell biology and virology are currently conducting diagnostic tests. The Human Genome Variation Research Group and ViroGenetics - BSL3 Laboratory of Virology, headed by Prof. Wojciech Branicki and Prof. Krzysztof Pyrć respectively.
