Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences has announced the list of laureates of the 1st of competitions carried out within the framework of the Strategic Programme Excellence Initiative at Jagiellonian University ("ID.UJ"). The competitions allow to receive financial support for PhD students and participants of doctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University in 3 modules (criteria): Visibility & Mobility, Skills Development and Excellence Module.
The financial support in the individual criteria relates to the following areas:
- Visibility&Mobility
- The module provides the opportunity to receive an award for a publication achievement.
- Skills Development
Provides funding for the participation of doctoral students/participants in doctoral studies in 2022 of the following:
- participation in training to improve the methodological competence of PhD students/participants;
- participation in training aimed at developing transversal competences;
- participation in training aimed at developing competences related to non-research activities;
- participation in training aimed at activity in the social and economic environment;
- participation in training aimed at popularisation and educational activities;
- participation in training to support individual competence development.
- Excellence Module
Provides the opportunity to fund the following categories of costs in 2022:
- active participation in international conferences of high repute within the discipline or disciplines in which the doctoral student/postdoctoral fellow is conducting research;
- research stays (from 5 to 30 days) in foreign research centres of high repute.
